Growently is a social media scheduling tool for TikTok and Instagram creators. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service, and we never sell your personal information.

This policy is written to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), as Growently is operated from Ontario, Canada. If you use Growently from outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada and other countries where our service providers operate.

1. Who we are

Growently ("Growently," "we," "us," or "our") is an independently operated social media scheduling service. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@growently.com.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are never stored in plain text — authentication and password hashing are handled securely by our infrastructure provider, Supabase.

Content you add

To provide the scheduling service, we store the content you create inside Growently, including:

• Media files you upload (videos and images) and their details, such as file name, size, and format;
• Post captions, scheduled dates and times, and the queues or calendars you organize them into;
• The social platforms (such as TikTok or Instagram) you choose to connect or schedule for.

Connected social accounts (when you choose to connect them)

If and when you connect a TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook account, we receive only the limited access those platforms grant through their official APIs — for example, your basic profile information and the ability to prepare, schedule, and publish the posts you approve. We never receive or store your social platform password.

We access and use this platform data solely to provide Growently's scheduling and publishing features to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Our use of TikTok data complies with the TikTok Developer Terms and Developer Guidelines, and our use of Instagram and Facebook data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You stay in control: you can disconnect any social account at any time from within Growently or from the platform's own settings, which immediately revokes our access, and you can request full deletion of your data at any time (see Deleting your data).

Basic technical information

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically processes limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the service secure and running. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above only to:

• Create and secure your account and let you sign in;
• Store and display your scheduled posts, media, calendar, and queues;
• Prepare and (where you have connected an account and approved it) publish posts to the platforms you choose;
• Respond to your support requests;
• Keep the service reliable, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded content to train advertising models or share it with advertisers.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a post or media file, it is removed from our active systems. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your personal information — including any data obtained from connected TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook accounts — within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations. 6. How we protect your information

Your data is protected by industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and row-level security — a database safeguard that ensures each account can only ever access its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a material breach as required by law.

7. Your rights and choices

Under PIPEDA and similar laws, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct information that is inaccurate;
• Withdraw consent and delete your account and associated data;
• Ask questions about how your data is handled.

To exercise any of these, email support@growently.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are in Canada and have an unresolved concern, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

8. Children

Growently is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
